Our History
Harrell & Beverly has
been providing professional, honest and dependable service
since it was founded in Bluefield, Virginia in 1952. The
company was founded by Samuel Harrell and James Beverly,
son-in-law of Mr. Harrell. Anna Beverly, wife of James
Beverly and daughter of Mr. Harrell, served as business
administrator from 1952 until her passing in 1981. The
company was relocated, to the present day location, in
Sanford, FL in 1959.
Through the years, James
Beverly, alongside his two sons, Alvin and Don Beverly,
operated the family business. In 2005, James Beverly retired
and Alvin and Don Beverly became the third gen- eration
of family owners. Alvin and Don each have over 30 years
of experience in the transmission and automotive repair
industry, beginning their careers in the family business
in the mid 1970s.

We are truly a family business. Alvin's sons,
Nelson and Lloyd Beverly, work in the family business.
Nelson serves as the Corporate Treasurer and Business
administrator. Lloyd is a Service & Diagnostic Technician
and also serves as the Corporate Secretary. Nelson and
Lloyd represent fourth generation family working in the
company. Don's wife, Hope, serves as the company's Administrative
Assistant.
Our mission at Harrell & Beverly is to give you the
best customer service you have ever received. We do this
by treating you the same way we would want to be treated
and we take care of your vehicle as if it were our own.
